Skagit Symphony’s mission is to contribute to the growth and appreciation of classical music in the community by performing a repertoire to a high standard. The mission includes providing the opportunity for skilled musicians in our region to perform with the orchestra, including soloists and local composers.

A secondary mission derives from the Symphony’s belief that each generation must preserve its cultural heritage and pass that heritage on musically to future generations. This is the guiding principle behind the Symphony’s Youth Program.
