Skagit Symphony School & Family Concerts 2018

School Concerts - TBA, schools by pre-arranged times
Family Concert - Sunday, January 28, 1:30pm

The mission of the School and Family Concerts is to introduce every child in Skagit County to classical music, and to plant the seeds that may develop into a lifelong love and knowledge of classical music.

Research has shown that learning, listening and performing classical music is often associated with success in other academic subjects such as mathematics, history and writing.

School Concerts

Skagit Symphony offers this unique opportunity to Skagit County public school fifth-graders on a Friday morning in January every year. There is no cost to schools or students to attend the School Concert, performed by the Symphony at McIntyre Hall. All expenses for the School Concerts, including school bus transportation, are paid for by our generous donors. Private school and home school groups which include grades 406 are invited to attend the School Concert, as well. To participate, all schools must reserve seats through our Education Program; if your school is interested, please contact
