Garden Tour 2012

Skagit Symphony Fifth Annual Garden Tour
Featuring Five Private Country Gardens
Located South of Mount Vernon
Sunday, June 24, 10 am to 5 pm
Advance Ticket Purchase Recommended

Please join us for the fifth annual Gardens of Note Tour of Private Gardens presented by the Skagit Symphony on Sunday, June 24, from 10 am to 5 pm. This year our popular tour features five country gardens, including the private vegetable garden of Graham and Treena Kerr. Graham Kerr, known for his cooking show “The Galloping Gourmet”, is the author of Growing at the Speed of Life, a book about a year in the life of his first kitchen garden, now in its fourth year. Enjoy each garden located in venues as varied as their plants:

  • a garden in a clearing in the forest
  • rambling acres in the flat lands
  • plantings around a house surrounded by farmland
  • a small garden perched at the top of a hill with valley views
  • a romantic retreat ideal for weddings.

Live music is performed at each location.

  • The Buckingham String Quartet
  • Sinfonia 1685
  • Bellacorda
  • Rosario Sounds
  • Celeste Weaver, violin
  • Skagit Symphony Woodwinds
  • Skagit Horn Quartet
