Support the Symphony

The Symphony depends upon contributions from generous donors to keep us “inspiring and transforming our community through the power of music”. Only ~25% of the Symphony’s funding derives from concert ticket sales. Your donations, combined with grants from service clubs and foundations, as well as sponsorships and ad sales, allow us to produce quality concerts and provide vital education programs.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Symphony is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Our tax ID number is 91-1649210.

Donate to your local Symphony by using the button below, or use the Patron Donation Form (Aug 2017) to mail to the Symphony Office.

If you’d like to specifically support our Education Program, please use the button below. Our Education Program includes:

  • Our series of three School Concerts – for all Skagit Valley 5th graders.
  • Our Family Concert – our low-cost afternoon concert for the wider community.
  • The Maestro’s Pre-Concert Lecture – offered at McIntyre Hall before each concert.
  • Concert Program Notes
  • Music Education Resources – for teachers and parents to prepare students for School and Family Concerts.

Adopt-an-Instrument Section

Whether you’ve played the violin your entire life, or just love the French horn, oboe, or cello, consider adopting your favorite “Instrument Section” in the Skagit Symphony.  For $100 you can adopt the clarinets, drums & timpani, trombones, or any other section your musical heart desires. You can’t take them home with you, but you can cheer on your section with your contribution!

And YES, you can Adopt-The-Maestro (that is Roupen!) for $200!

To start your adoption, sign up at the table in the lobby at each concert – before, after, or at intermission.  You may also contact the Symphony’s office at 360-848-9336 with your credit card information if you prefer.

Concert or Event Sponsor

For maximum exposure as a contributor to the Symphony, you may wish to become a sponsor. Our sponsors’ logos or names are included in all publications related to the concert or event, including our website. If you wish to be named as a sponsor, please include this information along with your check, and the name of the concert, event or soloist that you wish to support:

Amazon Smile

Any time of the year,  you can support The Skagit Symphony by purchases you make through Smile.Amazon.Com.  When you specify “Skagit Symphony” as your favorite charitable non-profit, Smile.Amazon.Com donates a portion of your purchase to the Symphony each time you order.  Every little bit helps keep our symphony alive and well!   Your Amazon and Amazon Prime memberships are both automatically part of AmazonSmile for this program.  You just need to specify your non-profit charity (i.e. Skagit Valley Symphony)
