Support the Symphony

HOW TO SUPPORT THE SYMPHONY

The Symphony depends upon contributions from generous donors, both private and corporate, to offset costs for producing concerts as well as to support our Youth Programs. Approximately 25% of the Symphony’s funding derives from concert ticket sales. Grants from service clubs and municipal and county tourism funds, along with various fundraising events, provide additional revenues. Gifts from patrons allow us to keep our ticket prices reasonable and to continue to perform our concerts in the acoustically superb McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon.

Various levels of giving and recognition are outlined below. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Symphony is a 501( c ) 3 corporation. Our tax ID number is 91-1649210. You can download a form to accompany donations.

Patron
Donations are used in support the Symphony’s mission of contributing to the vitality, education and growth of classical music in the community. Gifts are welcome at any level. Patrons are acknowledged in the Symphony’s Program for one year following receipt of their gift.

Program Advertiser
Businesses may like to purchase advertisements for our Program. This publication is printed once a year, in October before the first concert of the season. It is distributed at all of our concerts; therefore advertisements are seen all year by our concert goers. The Program is also used for other promotional opportunities, such as at Chamber of Commerce events. If you or your business would like to place an ad, please contact the Symphony’s office at 360-848-9209 or by email at execdir@SkagitSymphony.com. The best time for ordering an ad is in the early summer for placement in the following season’s Program.

Concert or Event Sponsor
For maximum exposure as a contributor to the Symphony, you may wish to become a sponsor. Our sponsors’ logos or names are included in all publications and press releases related to the concert or event. A Board representative acknowledges the sponsor at the performance or fundraiser, and the business logo is displayed on our website. Individual sponsorships usually start at the $1,000 level. If you wish to be named as a sponsor, you should include this information along with your check, and the name of the concert, event or soloist that you wish to support.
